Nolly Africa HD now available on Freeview 287
African Movie Channel, a UK broadcaster with expertise in Nollywood channel curation and management, has announced the move of its FAST channel, Nolly Africa, to a dedicated LCN (Logical Channel Number) on Freeview in the UK.
Nolly Africa is now available on Freeview channel 287, as well as Freely channel 593, having previously been available via Channelbox (since 2021).
Global Distribution Services has handled the delivery of the channel. The integration with the SSAI (Server-Side Ad Insertion) platform allows for high-quality, buffer-free streaming with dynamic ad insertion that respects user experience and content integrity. Moreover, by incorporating a Consent Management Platform (CMP) on their FAST services on UK DTT, Global Distribution Services and its technical partner, Synapse TV, ensure compliance with UK data protection laws and user privacy standards, while delivering highly relevant advertising experiences. Brands and advertisers can now engage audiences through tailored messaging based on user consent and viewing behavior.
