We began creating our own content in 2016, with a commitment to showcasing the rich diversity, culture, and untold narratives of the African continent, starting with our hit talk show, AMC Movie Talk. Our roster has grown significantly, with additions like AMC Music Lounge, Fashion Insider, and the popular The Hangout.
In 2018, we launched African Movie Channel Original Productions (AMCOP) to expand our content library, adding over 250 exclusively owned movies in recent years.
